You can now recycle plastic types 1 and 2 (usually designated in a triangle at the base of the container) at eight points across North Somerset.
Backwell - Recycling Centre

The plastics currently accepted are:
Type 1 (PET / PETE or Polyethylene Terephthalate) is commonly used to make soft drink and cooking oil bottles.
Type 2 (HDPE or High Density Polyethylene), is mainly used to make milk and detergent bottles.
